Plot

In the somber heart of medieval Europe, the aging and malevolent Countess Elisabeth Nodosheen reigns with an iron fist, aided by her lover, the stoic Captain Dobi. Yet, a desire for eternal youth gnaws at her, leading her to discover a chilling secret - the blood of young maidens can restore her vitality and beauty. With this gruesome knowledge, she manipulates Dobi into a grim task, abducting innocent girls whose blood will serve her sinister needs. As the Countess bathes in the fresh life-force of these virgins, she rejuvenates, and in an intricate web of deception, she masquerades as her own daughter, Ilona. Her youthful guise allows her to ensnare the affections of a young man, Lieutenant Imre Toth, a move that fans the flames of Dobi's jealousy. Meanwhile, the mysterious disappearances of local girls cause a wave of terror to ripple across the land, and when the Countess uncovers that only the blood of a virgin can appease her thirst for youth, Dobi finds himself thrust into an even darker mission. In a cruel twist of fate, the real Ilona decides to visit her mother, throwing the Countess's plans into disarray. The faithful servant Julie Sentash, who once cradled Ilona as her nanny, is now torn between loyalty and the urge to protect the innocent girl. As the castle's walls close in, each character finds themselves ensnared in a deadly dance of deceit and desire, under the cold shadow of Countess Dracula.
