In the pulsating heart of New York, Dr. Juliet Bliss Devereau, a dedicated physician at Brooklyn General Hospital, finds herself at the precipice of a new life. Recently extricated from a draining relationship with her boyfriend Jack, she yearns for solitude and the chance to rediscover herself. Her search for an oasis of independence leads her to a charmingly antiquated apartment building in Brooklyn, a bargain too good to resist. The property is under the care of the enigmatic and attractive Max, a solitary figure who carries an air of mystery in his silence.
