Concussion (2015)

The true story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, an American immigrant from Nigeria who makes the groundbreaking discovery of CTE, commonly called football-related head trauma. CTE causes a wide range of symptoms, from mental deterioration to severe depression and death in college and pro players who suffered repeated concussions on the playing field. When he brilliant Dr. Omalu put forward his proof of CTE, he was subsequently attacked by wealthy elites in the sports world who wanted to just sweep the whole thing under the rug. It sets up a classic David vs Goliath drama that played out before the world.
