Jerry Maguire (1996)

Jerry Maguire is a high-powered sports agent who seems to have it all. However, in a moment of overwhelming moral clarity, Maguire writes a missive about everything that is wrong with his business, resulting in his immediate termination from his top-flight agency. He subsequently forms his own company, taking Dorothy Boyd, a single mother, with him. He is only able to keep one client: The exuberant Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Rod Tidwell. The subsequent film tracks Maguire, Boyd, Boyd's young son, and Tidwell, as their relationships with each other and sports evolve.
