Plot

In the bustling heart of a fast food joint, manager Sandra finds herself ensnared in the grip of a tumultuous day. Her world is further rattled by a sudden phone call from a man, his voice laced with authority, claiming to be a police officer. He accuses one of her young female employees, Becky, of pilfering from a customer. As the persuasive stranger's voice echoes with perceived authority, Sandra is compelled to subject Becky to a back-room search, waiting for the mysterious law enforcer to arrive. However, this is no ordinary inquiry. The caller, exploiting the pliability of the staff, orchestrates a grotesque game of humiliation targeted at Becky. The plot thickens with every new, unsuspecting employee drawn into the deceptive web spun over the phone. This disturbing charade spirals further into the abyss of depravity, with each twist more perverse than the last. Only when a final participant braves to challenge the sinister farce do they begin to fathom the enormity of the crime they've been duped into, a crime that leaves even the real police grappling for solutions. A seemingly ordinary Friday service at this fast food restaurant quickly morphs into a chilling saga of manipulation, deception, and abhorrent humiliation. 'Compliance' is a haunting exploration of the power of authority and the lengths to which individuals will go when ensnared by it. This psychological thriller will leave you questioning the very nature of obedience and the harrowing consequences of blind trust.
