Within the confines of an austere farm, Pietro and Lucia carve out a humble existence, their lives intertwined with the earth they till. Lucia, a woman of radiant beauty and unwavering dedication to her family, and Pietro, a robust man blessed with a potent work ethic yet cursed with a malformed knee that keeps him from the warfront, find solace in their simple, hardworking life. They share their dwelling with Alice, Lucia's younger sister, their quiet harmony disrupted only by the relentless demands of their agricultural livelihood. Their world takes a sinister turn when a seemingly ordinary task of drawing water from their well unleashes a force beyond their comprehension. From the depths of the earth's womb, a bizarre, alien hue flickers and dances in the water, before submerging back into the darkness. This fleeting encounter with the inexplicable triggers a series of eerie happenings that shroud their farm in an ominous mystery.
