Cold War (2018)

Polish folk musician Irena captures the attention of Wiktor at an audition for a state-sponsored folk music group. The chemistry is immediate, and they quickly begin a heated affair. But the two are living amidst the political turmoil of post-World War II Poland, and there are greater pressures for the two to begin including pro-Soviet propaganda in their works. When Irena refuses to flee, Wiktor leaves on his own. Years later, the two meet again in Paris. While they have each built their own new lives for themselves, their irresistible attraction is going to come colliding directly with the status quo.

Cold War is a drama movie featuring Joanna Kulig and directed by Paweł Pawlikowski.
