In the bustling economic landscape of India, Amar Saxena stands tall as the esteemed Managing Director of the reputable Khaitan Fans Ltd. His world takes an intriguing turn when he encounters Jagmohan, a beggar who curiously identifies him as Rohit and pleads for him to return to his sickly wife, Seema. Although Amar dismisses the mistaken identity, he is moved by Jagmohan's plight and extends his help. His journey takes him to a hospital where he meets the ailing Seema, and unexpectedly, finds himself falling head over heels in love. Little does he know, the beggar and his wife are covert police officers on a mission. They've been entrusted with the task of arresting Amar for the murder of his own uncle, Ram Kumar Saxena. Employing a blend of cunning and guile, Amar manages to convince the court of his mental instability, narrowly avoiding imprisonment but landing himself in an asylum.
