The Legend of 1900 (1998)

In the hushed twilight hours, a down-on-his-luck musician, Max Tooney, finds refuge in a secondhand music shop, his aspirations drowned in the melancholy notes of his beloved Conn trumpet, the last vestige of his past that he must now sell for less than it's worth. The shopkeeper, intrigued by the haunting melody, recognizes the tune from a fragmented record matrix nestled in a recently procured secondhand piano.
