Cavalier of the West (1931)

Beneath the blistering sun of the Wild West, Captain John Allister, a stalwart officer of the U.S. Cavalry, stumbles upon a scene of impending violence. Deputy Sheriff 'Red' Greeley and his four menacing henchmen are on the brink of assaulting White Feather and two of his Indian companions, accusing them of horse theft. With a cunning ruse, Allister deflates their false claims, suspecting that the true motive lies in seizing the Indians' gold, destined for El Rio. Greeley and his gang are promptly arrested, charged with theft and the chilling murder of Indians a week prior, and handed over to Sheriff Bill Ryan. However, their incarceration is short-lived.
