In the tranquil outskirts of the city, a successful young couple, Laurie and Hugh, blissfully embark on their new venture - a serene weekend home. Their joy, however, is oblivious to the haunting secrets that lie in the shadows of their newfound paradise. Nestled ominously nearby, the decaying remnants of a once thriving boarding school stand as a chilling reminder of a horrifying massacre that sent shivers through the spines of history. This forsaken establishment is not entirely abandoned though. It harbours a solitary occupant, the sole survivor of the gruesome tragedy, who now exists as a scarred relic of the past. Referred to as the Blood Widow, this emotionally shattered figure has taken refuge in the ruins, shunning the world and desiring nothing more than solitude. Fuelled by curiosity, Laurie and Hugh's unsuspecting friends venture into the eerie property, unwittingly stirring the dormant horrors within. They find themselves in the crosshairs of the Blood Widow, an emotionally fractured killing machine that they've inadvertently awakened. As the plot unfolds, the line between their idyllic retreat and the lurking nightmare begins to blur, threatening to consume their reality in a terrifying spiral of fear.
