In the not-so-distant future, Greece is smothered under a relentless heatwave. A once bustling seaside resort now lies parched and restless, the scarcity of water stoking the fires of violence ready to ignite. Amidst the oppressive sun and looming chaos, we find Ashraf: an immigrant, solitary by circumstance, tasked with guarding a French family's villa during their absence.
On this sun-ravaged land where every drop of water is a treasure and tranquility is a luxury, Ashraf navigates his isolation. But his solitude is abruptly shattered when he is halted on a sun-blistered road by a policeman for an identity check. In a world teetering on the edge of anarchy, this seemingly simple interaction may hold more danger than it seems.
"Blind Sun" invites you to plunge into this simmering pot of tension, where survival is as uncertain as the next sunrise, and where the lines between guardian and prisoner blur in the blinding heat.
