Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 (2013)

The vigilante known as Batman has returned after a self-imposed decade in exile, and he finds Gotham City to be a much different place than what he left behind. Gangs of vicious mutants stalk the streets of the decrepit city, while the ultra-rich remain protected in their glittering high rises. In a desperate attempt to fix things, he claims leadership of one of these gangs. But his old villain the Joker grows jealous of Batman's new friends. Batman already has a lot to contend with, but the government has now sent the nigh-unstoppable Superman to neutralize him once and for all.
