In the heart of the Wild West, Billy the Kid (Buster Crabbe) and his loyal sidekick Jeff (Dave O'Brien) aid their friend Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John) in a daring jailbreak, setting a course for the promising lands of Paradise Valley. Fuzzy, weary of their fugitive lives, hopes to settle into the honest life of a homesteader. However, their dreams of tranquility are shattered when they encounter the Paradise Land Development Company, a facade for the ruthless land swindlers Matt Brawley (Glenn Strange) and Jack Saunders (Charles King).
As the trio delves deeper, they unearth the deceitful dealings that Brawley and Saunders have been brewing against the innocent homesteaders. Recognizing the injustice, Billy, Jeff, and Fuzzy devise an ingenious strategy to ignite a rift between the duplicitous Brawley and the outlaw Saunders. Their plan is as daring as it is dangerous: to manipulate a deadly gunfight between Brawley's men and Saunders' outlaw gang, hoping the two villainous forces will annihilate each other.
