Badlands (1974)

Bathed in the fading glow of the 1950s, the small town of Fort Dupree, South Dakota, becomes the backdrop for a poignant and perilous love story. Holly, a 15-year-old girl with a frosty relationship with her sign painter father, moves from Texas, bringing with her the echoes of her mother who died of pneumonia when she was a child.
