Plot

In the heart-shaking drama, Baby Sellers, inspired by chilling true events, a sinister underworld of infant trafficking emerges from the shadows. The story unfolds around Rafael Ochoa, a notorious Mexican human trafficker. His extensive network of coyotes remains elusive, leaving law enforcement desperate to bring him down. Their chance comes in the form of an unexpected sideshow they stumble upon - a deplorable market for infants, shrouded under the guise of adoption. At the helm of this atrocious operation in the US is Carla Huxley, a petty criminal salvaged from obscurity by Ochoa. Now, she runs an agency with a trail of suspicious loose ends, which detectives keenly follow. As they infiltrate her dubious organization posing as eager parents, they begin to unravel the depth of her dealings. When her Mexican supply line hits a snag, Huxley's desperation leads her to a Brazilian hospital, where she orders white babies like commodities. She also turns her attention to an Indian slum, where infants are shockingly considered a 'cheaper' supply. Starring Emmy winner Jennifer Finnigan and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Kirstie Alley, Baby Sellers is a gripping exposé of a bone-chilling international crime network. This Lifetime Original Movie dares to shed light on the unthinkable horrors of infant trafficking, pulling viewers into a world where innocence is stolen, and hope fights to prevail.
