Sahara (2005)

Sahara is an action thriller about a group of Navy Seals sent to find the wreck of a Confederate ship that reportedly carries a lot of gold. The ship went down in West Africa near the river Niger, but the Seals find there is more going on in the area than lost gold. A West African dictator along with a French energy industrialist is spilling dangerous toxic waste into the sea that could spread disease around the world. The film is about the adventures and challenges the Seals meet while doing their job as well as helping the two WHO doctors escape a ruthless dictator.

Sahara is an action movie featuring Matthew McConaughey and directed by Breck Eisner.
