Plot

In the chilling tale of Carrie White, we meet a painfully introverted teenage girl, whose life is a relentless struggle between the torment of her high school tormentors and the oppressiveness of her zealot mother, Margaret. Carrie, however, is no ordinary teenager. She is the bearer of an unpredictable and often uncontrollable gift - telekinesis, an ability to manipulate objects with mere thought, a power that flares in response to her heightened states of fear or anger. Carrie's high school life is a battlefield, where she faces off against her affluent, callous classmates. Among them, Sue Snell emerges with a touch of compassion, compelling her boyfriend, Tommy Ross, to invite the ostracized Carrie to the senior prom in place of herself. However, the venomous Chris Hargenson, shunned from the prom, conspires a wicked plan for revenge against Carrie, a plot seething with malice and a bucket of pig's blood. As the prom night unfurls, the cruel prank pushes the already unstable Carrie to the brink of sanity. Her latent telekinetic abilities surge forth, turning the prom into a nightmarish spectacle. In the face of the horrific prank, Carrie's powers are unleashed, and the once cheerful prom transforms into a scene from a blood-curdling horror tale. As the night spirals into chaos, it becomes hauntingly clear that when Carrie is pushed over the edge, anything can happen. This is the harrowing story of Carrie White, a lonely girl with extraordinary powers, teetering on the precipice of insanity, and her unforgettable prom night.
