The Forbidden Kingdom (2008)

The fact that Jason Tripitikas is a clumsy kid Chicago doesn't quell his passion for the classic era of kung fu and martial arts films, but he never would have imagined that he would ever become a part of the adventures he worships. That changes suddenly when he discovers a weapon used by the legendary Monkey King. This magical relic transports him back in time, and he teams up with a team of martial artists who are on a quest to free the Monkey King from imprisonment. He may be a clumsy and forgettable kid back home, but now he's a legendary hero.
