Law and Order is a long-running crime drama that includes both the crime-fighting police as well as the prosecutors who pursue the cases in court. The theme of a show is often taken from current events that are fictionalized. It is filmed on location in New York City and covers the personal dramas of the victims, criminals, police and attorneys. Viewers get two separate perspectives on crime-fighting and trials in court.
