In the gripping film Altered Spirits (2016), four companions in their prime, Scott, Valerie, Trey, and Daniel, embark on an extraordinary journey into the realm of the spiritual. Enticed by the enigmatic Daniel, the group ventures to a sweat lodge spiritual retreat, shepherded by the eccentric and somewhat dubious guru, Godric. The retreat's location, however, is far from ordinary. It sits precariously on a cosmic fissure - a gateway to an alternate dimensional plane. As the quartet participates in the sweat lodge ceremony, a shocking blackout sweeps over them, yanking them from their reality and thrusting them into the eerie alternate dimension. These sinister entities are determined to seize the bodies of the friends as their vessels, intending to abandon them in the desolate astral wasteland.
