Plot
Admiral James Kirk must rescue fellow Federation members, including Pavel Chekov, after they are captured on a planet by Khan Noonien Singh. Khan is a genetically engineered super-being who first appeared in a Star Trek episode and was banished.
Rejoining with much of his former crew, Kirk, Spock, and others must travel to Regula one, where the Genesis device is located. This device, if used, can completely revitalize a planet, but will do so by destroying all living matter on the planet. Khan seeks control of the device while also seeking to exact revenge on Kirk, his crew, and his family.
