Renowned romance novelist Jo, nursing a heart recently shattered by love's cruel game, finds herself in an unusual predicament when her editor, Diana, pushes her into the grueling world of a navy seal boot camp. This is a consequence of Jo's previous work, which was marred by an astounding 73 errors about firefighters, stirring Diana to insist on a realistic backdrop for Jo's next book. Enter Diana's handsome, overbearing kid brother, a Navy man with an ego as vast as the sea he sails. His vibrant personality is a world away from Jo's quiet, introspective life. Suddenly, Jo, a woman more accustomed to conjuring adventures on paper than living them, finds herself plunged into a world of rigorous training and raw masculinity.
