Near Dark (1987)

In the simmering heart of Phoenix, young cowboy Caleb Colton's life takes a dark turn when he crosses paths with the enchantingly beautiful Mae under the cloak of night. Agreeing to a seemingly innocent request for a ride to her trailer, Caleb finds himself entranced by Mae's allure, leading to a fateful kiss that carries a venomous bite. His world spirals into shadows when his truck refuses to start, forcing him to journey home under the revealing light of dawn, which inexplicably sets his skin aflame. Caleb's bewildered father, Loy Colton, and innocent sister, Sarah, bear witness to his sudden abduction by a mysterious van that materializes from the ether. Within this mobile fortress, Caleb is thrust into the heart of Mae's unconventional family - the charismatic leader Jesse Hooker, his steadfast partner Diamondback, the ruthlessly savage Severen, and the deceptively young Homer.
