Tears of the Sun (2003)

Tears of the Sun is an action thriller that involves an elite team of Navy Seals and a group of Nigerian refugees. The Seals were instructed to save a doctor at a hospital in the jungle and not get involved in the insurrection. However, the doctor has other ideas and refuses to be saved unless the innocent villagers are saved too. This will mean disobeying orders, but the Seals can't leave 70 people behind who will be slaughtered by the rebels. The trek through the jungle back to safety is full of perils, and the group is being chased by the rebels.
