Plot

Struggling actor Mark finds himself grappling with life's cruel ironies in a world that seems to be perpetually against him. Barely surviving, he's burdened with the care of his paraplegic brother, and a relationship that's hanging by a thread with his exasperated girlfriend, Sally. His existence orbits around sporadic auditions, evading his landlord after squandering Sally's rent money, and nursing a perpetual hangdog expression. His life is as dilapidated as his flat, a crumbling sanctuary where the kitchen window stubbornly slams shut, bits of plaster rain down like confetti, light bulbs sputter to their death, and a chandelier sways ominously, hinting at impending chaos. When catastrophe strikes, it's Mark's paralysis that sets off a disastrous domino effect, culminating in a desperate call to Pearce, his upstairs neighbor. It's a decision that could either salvage or shatter his already precarious existence. Will Mark finally awaken and navigate his way through this labyrinth of calamities?
