A Case of You (2013)

Caught in the thorny grip of writer's block, Sam (Justin Long), a blossoming author, finds himself beguiled by the enchanting street artist, Birdie (Evan Rachel Wood). In a desperate ploy to win her over, he crafts a fictitious identity, a perfect mirage, molded from the fragments of Birdie’s own interests, gleaned from the digital scrolls of her Facebook profile. Their paths cross 'accidentally' at a comedy club, and their lives become intertwined as they sway to the harmonious rhythm of ballroom dance as partners. As Sam gives in to the intoxicating whirl of their relationship, he finds himself penning a novel, drawing inspiration from the beautiful complexity of their relationship. However, the charade becomes a precarious balancing act as Birdie falls deeper into the arms of a man who only exists on the pages of fiction.
