7 Below (2012)

In the perfect storm of fate, a group of strangers find their destinies entwined, led by the tenacious lawyer, Bill McCormick, and his estranged wife, Brooklyn. Among their number are the brothers Isaac and Adam, along with the mysterious Dr. Lipski, fresh from their escapades at a nearby resort. A seemingly innocent pitstop at a gas station spirals into a series of unexpected events as Adam and Bill find themselves drawn to the enchanting attendant, Courtney. Their journey takes a nightmarish turn as their driver, haunted by the vision of a woman on the desolate road, crashes the van into an unforgiving tree. Their driver's life is abruptly snuffed out, leaving the group stranded in the merciless storm. Their only beacon of hope is Jack, a stranger who offers them shelter in his house. As Adam crosses paths with Courtney once again, her car crippled on the road, he invites her to join their group. Little do they know, they've all walked into a web of spectral dread. The house, they soon discover, is not just inhabited by its living residents, but also by restless spirits. The chilling revelation unfolds that a century ago, the house was the stage of a gruesome family massacre, orchestrated by their deranged son. In the echoing halls of the haunted house, the group is subjected to a horrifying spectacle of the past, forced to watch the boy's macabre dance of death played out over and over again. Stranded and desperate, the group must unravel the terrifying history of their temporary refuge if they hope to survive the night.
