Plot

In the bustling culinary world of Seoul, we meet Seo Poong, a gifted chef, flourishing in the renowned kitchens of a prestigious hotel's Chinese restaurant. However, his world crumbles when his beloved fiancé, Seok Dal Hee, betrays him with the hotel's conniving CEO who also frames him. Fuelled by a burning desire for revenge, Seo Poong abandons his position and vows to strike back. He discovers salvation in an unlikely place - a failing Chinese restaurant, languishing across the street, once operated by the formidable loan shark, Doo Chil Seong. Seizing an opportunity, Seo Poong takes the reins, determined to resurrect it from its ashes and steal the clientele of his former employer. At the same time, we encounter the beautiful Dan Sae Woo, a wealthy heiress whose life is turned upside down when her father is arrested on her wedding day and she's thrust into poverty. A chance encounter with Doo Chil Seong, who is smitten by her charms, lands her a job at the newly revived Chinese restaurant under Seo Poong's command. As the restaurant's doors open, these three lives are entwined in a delicious tale of revenge, love, and resilience. Wok of Love serves up a feast of intrigue, simmering with challenges and seasoned with unexpected alliances.
