Plot
Gretchen and Jimmy seem to have no luck managing to maintain a relationship, but they gamble on the chance that they might be able to make one work between each other. Both have a reputation for being toxic and selfish adults in a state of arrested development — and while that comes with its own challenges, it allows them to tolerate each others' sensibilities and possibly grow as people together. As they learn how to temper their insensitivity for the sake of others, they each discover that they find a sense of satisfaction in learning how to be sensitive and tolerant.
