In the serene pastoral landscapes of southern England, a blissful warren of rabbits dwells, unacquainted with the looming shadows of danger. Their tranquil existence is suddenly shattered when a prophecy of doom befalls the ears of an unassuming rabbit, Fiver. This chilling vision of devastation soon convinces Fiver's loyal brother, Hazel, to rally a band of rabbits, igniting a daring escape from their cherished home, the Sandleford Warren.
Their destination is the mythical Watership Down, a haven believed to be free from the intrusive grasp of mankind and the promise of a more perfect society. On this treacherous journey, however, safety proves to be as elusive as the wind. A multitude of trials, posed by fearsome predators and unexpected adversaries, beset their path. Yet, under the courageous leadership of the brothers and fueled by their collective hope, the rabbits persist in their flight.
