The four great nations of the world are each associated with the four elements, and they're now in the midst of a great war. The Fire Nation has aspirations to run roughshod over every other nation in the world — and while each nation possesses the ability to manipulate a single element, these mystical warriors aren't enough to take on the monks of the Fire Nations alone. Instead, it falls on the shoulders of a young boy who can possess all four powers to bring peace to the four kingdoms. Aang sets out on a pilgrimage to control and master his powers.
