Plot
Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman are four kindergarten kids who are obsessed with toilet humor — and while there's apparently not much going on in the sleepy town of South Park, it's actually the hub of everything from alien invasions to showdowns between Presidential leaders. The boy's daily adventures are ostensibly just an excuse to skewer whatever controversy is hot in the news — but the town begins to develop a character itself over time, and the scatological humor gives way to more stories with deeper character context and more nuanced takes on the issues of the day.
