As the remnants of a long-lost life surface in a forsaken building, the enigma of a young man's death from 1976 reopens. The victim is Jimmy Sullivan, once a homeless boy, who found his tragic end in what was then a humble hostel. Unraveling this deeply buried mystery falls into the hands of the astute Detective Chief Inspector, Cassie Stuart, and her resolute partner, Detective Sergeant Sunil "Sunny" Khan. Their investigation reveals a haunting diary, sketching out four intriguing suspects, each entangled in a web of their own: a man of the cloth, a distinguished businessman, a devoted community worker, and a loving husband bound by his wheelchair and dedicated to his wife's care. As Stuart and Khan start to tug at the threads of their lives, secrets long concealed begin to surface, casting a shadow of doubt on those they hold dear.
