Plot
Patrick Jane's celebrated skills as a psychic are all fraud, but that doesn't mean that Patrick isn't gifted. The murder of his wife and child have led Patrick to coming clean about his role as a conman, but running confidence schemes on such a large scale have given him a unique gift for reading what people are thinking. With his past exposed, Patrick has taken to working with the California Bureau of Investigation as a special consultant. He's specifically on the hunt for the man who killed his family, Red John. But he'll need to rebuilt his trust in the department.
