The Closer (2005)

The Closer is the nickname given to Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson because of her uncanny ability to elicit confessions from criminals. She was previously with the Atlanta Police Department and was trained in interrogation by the CIA before she was made head of the Priority Homicide Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. She has unorthodox means for recognizing the truth from the lies and gaining confessions. She is not affiliated with any politicians, which means she doesn’t have many friends in or out of the department, but no one can deny her record of closing difficult homicide cases.

The Closer is a crime show featuring Kyra Sedgwick and created by Michael M. Robin.
