Plot

A reimagined sequel to the 2004 hit drama The Woman Who Wants to Marry, Still, Marry Me paints a kaleidoscope of love, friendship, and life transitions of three unique women. This modern, sprightly drama is a potent cocktail of wit, charm, and heart, much like a Korean rendition of beloved series like Sex and the City or Friends. Guided by a talented ensemble cast, each character breathes life into the narrative, making it irresistibly engaging. Star actress Park Jin Hee, acclaimed for her role in the hit drama Money War, takes the helm as a woman who refuses to trade her flourishing career for love. Her poised, successful friend Wang Bit Na and the innocent yet unskilled in love Uhm Ji Won, a chance-meet high school classmate, complete the trio. The narrative takes an exciting turn with the introduction of a promising musician, portrayed by rising star Kim Bum, who falls for Jin Hee's character, and a doctor who gets entangled in their lives. The story revolves around Jin Hee's character, Shin Young, who after prioritizing her career over her love life, struggles to find lasting love. When her latest romantic venture ends in heartbreak, she finds an unexpected ally in Uhm Ji Won's character, Jung Da Jung, a top interpreter grappling with her own love troubles. Adding spice to the mix is Shin Young's best friend, a successful yet love-weary restaurant consultant. As these women navigate the tumultuous waters of their 30s, they find strength in their camaraderie, facing life's ups and downs with a cocktail of humor, determination, and occasional clumsiness. With new romances blooming and past heartbreaks to confront, their journey is one filled with unexpected twists and turns, making Still, Marry Me a captivating watch.
