Plot
After a one-night stand with a woman who is shortly afterward arrested for murder and sentenced to death, Jimmy Chance, a 23-year-old who lives with his parents and grandmother, becomes the father to Hope. Jimmy, his family, and friends must raise Hope, despite the bizarre nature of her conception and their less-than-ideal family situation. The show tracks Jimmy, his family, and his best friend/love interest, Sabrina. Throughout the show, Jimmy and his family are shown doing everything they can for young Hope, growing up along with her as they try to give her the best life possible.
