Plot

Once the shining star of high school, Kang Joo Eun (Shin Min Ah), dubbed the Daejeon Venus, was the envy of every girl and the object of every boy's desire. Her stunning beauty coupled with a sharp intellect propelled her from a humble background to the lofty heights of law school. Now, at 33, Joo Eun has not only achieved her dream of becoming an attorney but has also nurtured a stable relationship with her high school sweetheart, Im Woo Sik (Jung Gyu Woon), for 15 years. However, time has taken a toll on Joo Eun. She has let herself go, becoming overweight and overlooked, her once-radiant presence fading into the drudgery of her everyday life. On a return flight from a short business trip to the United States, an embarrassing encounter with celebrity personal trainer Kim Yeong Ho (So Ji Sub) and his two sidekicks sets in motion a series of events that will change her life. Exiled from America amidst a scandal, Yeong Ho is not only forced to return to Korea but is also thrust into the role of president of his family's medical services company by his domineering grandmother. When a lost purse brings him back into Joo Eun's life, he becomes an unwilling witness to her further humiliation as she is dumped by Woo Sik, who is now dating her new boss, Oh Soo Jin (Yoo In Young). With Yeong Ho's obsession for a healthy lifestyle, spurred on by a serious injury in his childhood, he becomes a beacon of hope for Joo Eun. As he finds himself repeatedly coming to her rescue, can he also help her reclaim her lost beauty and health? This is the tale of a woman's journey to regain her lost self, a personal trainer's quest for redemption, and how they find healing in each other amidst the chaos of their lives.
