Plot

Set in the heart of romance and humor, "Love Storm" is a narrative that unearths the complexities of love at any age, through the lens of the charismatic printer salesman, Yi De (Chris Wu). Alongside him, are his siblings, the martial arts enthusiast and Hello Kitty aficionado Yi Shan (Chen Yu), and the eccentric Li Qian (Deng Yu Kai). The Lin siblings, long desensitized to their parents' endless squabbles, are hit with a startling revelation. Their parents, Chen Pei Ling (Ke Shu Qin) and Lin Yuang Ming (Fan Guang Yao), after a long 27-year marriage, decide to part ways. To add to the chaos, their father embarks on a romantic journey with a woman barely younger than his marriage, while their mother finds herself drawn to her Korean teacher, considering plastic surgery for a youthful touch. Barely able to navigate their own lives, the Lin siblings are now faced with the herculean task of reuniting their parents. Will they weather this love storm or succumb to the desert of despair? "Love Storm," which premiered on TTV on August 19, 2016, is one of the "Q Series" short dramas, and earned recognition for its remarkable blend of established stars like Chris Wu and promising newcomers like Chen Yu and Deng Yukai. Directed by the brilliant Kitamura Toyoharu, known for his work on the classic "It Started With a Kiss," the series comprises seven episodes that concluded on September 30, 2016. The show is a heartwarming journey that explores love, family, and the trials of life, sure to captivate audiences with its unique blend of comedy and drama.
