Illyasviel von Einzbern, an ordinary schoolgirl living in Japan, leads a seemingly mundane life with her overachieving older brother, Shirou Emiya, and two devoted maids, while her parents remain absent, voyaging perpetually overseas. Amidst this tranquil existence, Illya cherishes whimsical dreams of harnessing magic to fulfill her unspoken love for Shirou. However, their incessant squabbles infuriate one Kaleidostick, Magical Ruby, who is drawn to Illya's ephemeral dream of magic. In a whimsical twist of fate, Magical Ruby abandons Rin, ensnaring Illya into the magical realm and transforming her into a magical girl. Now, under Rin's coercive guidance, Illya finds herself compelled to collect the perilous Class Cards. Yet, a more formidable threat lurks within Illya herself - secrets buried deep within her, which may have been the true magnet that lured Ruby to her.
