As darkness descends on the once vibrant Black Lake ski resort, Johan and his friends, brimming with ambition, find themselves ensnared in a web of eerie occurrences. The resort, now a deserted shell of its former glory, is the backdrop of a chilling crime that resulted in its closure. Johan, driven by visions of a renaissance, gathers his friends for a preliminary visit, unknowingly setting them on a path of impending dread.
Their tranquil retreat is shattered on the first night when Hanne, Johan's significant other, is roused by a terrifying thud echoing from the depths of the cellar - a place the adamant landlord forbids them from probing. The chilling revelation of a strangled family being the resort’s swan song, only adds to their mounting horror.
Plagued by blood-curdling nightmares of strangulation, the friends awaken with eyes crimson from terror, their dreams seemingly becoming a grotesque reality. Hanne, her fear escalating, is gripped by the belief that malevolent supernatural entities are orchestrating their torment. As trust erodes and danger escalates, the question remains - Who can be relied upon? Who will emerge from the shadows of Black Lake?
