Sakurai Misaki, a devoted patissier with dreams of establishing her own confectionery empire, finds herself at a crossroads when she is abruptly dismissed from her job. Her single-minded pursuit of her career has consumed her, to the point where the simple pleasures of life, like a passionate kiss, seem to be alien concepts. As she grapples with the harsh reality of unemployment, fate intertwines her path with Shibasaki Chiaki, her high school sweetheart. Chiaki, now running a charming seaside restaurant in scenic Shonan, learns about Misaki's predicament. With the tender nostalgia of their shared past and the promise of a fresh start, he extends an invitation to Misaki to live and work with him at the restaurant. A new life chapter unfolds as she moves in, finding herself in the company of not just Chiaki, but his two charismatic younger brothers as well. Kanata, the second brother, is a gifted chef with a passion as fiery as the stoves he commands, while the youngest, Toma, graces the restaurant's floor as a waiter, charming the patrons with his affable charisma.
