Welcome to Hard Times (1967)

In the desolate landscape of Hard Times, an enigmatic stranger storms into town, wreaking havoc amongst the humble dwellers. The town's founder, Fee, along with several other townsfolk, fall victim to his brutal acts. The Mayor, Will Blue, crippled by fear, fails to rise against the mysterious marauder, who violates the local saloon girl, Molly, and sets the town ablaze. As the smoke clears, with the stranger vanished as swiftly as he appeared, Blue vows to resurrect Hard Times from the ashes. A ray of hope arrives in the form of a wagon brimming with courtesans, under the astute guidance of Zar, a savvy entrepreneur. Together with Blue, they breathe new life into the devastated town. However, Molly's thirst for vengeance and her resentment towards Blue for his previous inaction gnaw at her spirit. Blue assures her that the past won't repeat itself when the stranger inevitably returns. When the echoes of the stranger's menace reverberate once again in Hard Times, the town is tested, its resilience and courage facing the ultimate trial. With the promise of a face-off, Blue's redemption and Molly's quest for justice hang in the balance, as they await a confrontation that could either shatter or save their reborn settlement.
