Plot

In the vibrant heart of Santiago, an American tourist known as Gringo finds himself immersed in a thrilling vacation with his Chilean comrades, the unassuming Ariel and affluent, influential Pollo. Their journey intertwines with a trio of adventurous Russian tourists - the alluring Irina, the free-spirited Kylie, and her fiercely protective sister Monica. Invited by Pollo, this diverse group embarks on an exhilarating expedition to the coastal city of Valparaiso, oblivious of the tremors of destiny that await them. As the night descends, they find themselves in the pulsating rhythm of a local nightclub, a night of revelry that abruptly morphs into a nightmare when an earth-shattering quake collapses the club, triggering a tsunami warning. In the ensuing pandemonium, the group scrambles to find sanctuary amidst the crumbling city. But Mother Nature’s wrath isn't the only threat that looms over them. A stone's throw away, the earthquake ruptures the walls of a formidable prison, unleashing a horde of hardened criminals into the chaos-ridden streets. Sensing the vulnerability of the group, especially the women, the escaped convicts turn predators, transforming an already nightmarish night into a relentless game of survival. Aftershock is a chilling exploration of survival, where the most terrifying adversary is not the fury of the natural world, but the very creations of nature themselves. This tale of resilience will keep you on edge, questioning what catastrophe will strike next, and reminding that the most dangerous threats often lurk in the shadows of chaos.
