Caught in the tangled web of a humble existence, Bala, a lower middle-class everyman, anticipates the dawn of a new chapter in his life - an engagement with his charming girlfriend, Anita. However, the ominous shadow of an impending disaster looms over their joyous occasion. A ruthless local goon, Velu, threatens to shatter their dreams unless Bala settles his substantial debt.
