Union (2019)

In the tumultuous throes of the Civil War, a deadly skirmish at Cold Harbor sees 'Henry' wounded, teetering on the brink of death. The spark of life, however, reignites a fierce determination within him, fueling his resolve to live and love with an unquenchable intensity. This resolve leads him to Virginia Klaising, the compassionate widow who once saved his life amidst the bloody chaos of Antietam. However, Henry is not who he appears to be. Haunted by PTSD, Henry is compelled to confess his wartime transgressions, revealing a mercy killing that ended a childhood friend's life, and a child lost amidst the turmoil. Driven by a new mission, Henry ventures out to find the missing child, ultimately bringing him home. As secrets become harder to conceal, survival intertwines with love, painting an intricate portrait of life during the Civil War.
