Unaccompanied Minors (2006)

In the heart of winter, young Spencer and his adorable sibling Katherine are airborne to Pennsylvania for a festive Christmas with their father. However, their journey is interrupted when a ruthless blizzard descends upon Hoover Airport, grounding all outbound flights and confining them to a bleak basement alongside other stranded, unaccompanied minors. Among these stranded passengers are four distinctive characters: a well-rounded, jovial boy; a chatterbox who never sees the end of his own stories; a grumpy, rebellious girl; and a privileged, wealthy kid. Together, they form an unlikely band of misfits, going rogue under the watchful eye of Mr. Porter, the airport supervisor with an inexplicable aversion to Christmas cheer. Throughout a long, adventurous night, they dodge Porter's relentless attempts at discipline, exploring the airport's hidden corners and secret chambers. As they navigate their chaotic surroundings, they make it their mission to ensure little Katherine receives her magical visit from Santa. Amidst the pandemonium, they discover an unexpected kinship amongst themselves, creating a new definition of family in this unexpected Christmas adventure.
