Two Flags West (1950)

Set against the backdrop of the Civil War in 1863, Two Flags West follows a band of Confederate prisoners of war who pledge their allegiance to the Union Army. This unusual alliance, born out of their shared purpose to quell the Indian threat, is sealed by President Lincoln's Special Proclamation, promising these Confederate soldiers their freedom. Led by the gallant Colonel Clay Tucker, these Confederate Georgia cavalry prisoners join forces with the Union under the sole condition that they would not have to wage war against their own Confederacy.
