True Identity (1991)

In the comedic whirlwind of True Identity, we follow the journey of Miles Pope, an ambitious black actor with dreams of starring in Othello. On his way back from a disappointing audition, he finds himself seated next to Leland Carver, an inconspicuous movie producer on the brink of revealing his mobster past as their plane nosedives. However, in a twist of fate, the plane doesn't crash, leaving Miles as the only witness to Carver's shady past. In a desperate bid to evade the mob's pursuit, Miles enlists his best friend and skilled makeup artist, Duane, to transform him into a convincing White man.
